I’m Brayden Prato, the owner and founder of PratoPhoto. My journey with media began when I was about 9 years old and received a simple camcorder for Christmas. From that moment on, I spent countless hours making goofy videos with my siblings and friends, sparking a lifelong passion for creativity.

In 2016, I enrolled in the accounting program at Okanagan College. However, I quickly realized that I wasn’t able to fully express my creativity, so I made the decision to switch to marketing.

By 2017, I had purchased my first mirrorless camera, started vlogging, and making short videos. It didn’t take long to realize this was something I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to daily practice and self-education, continually improving my skills in professional video and photography. I’ve drawn inspiration from incredible artists like Peter McKinnon, Daniel Schiffer, and Casey Neistat.

In the spring of 2021, I graduated with a Marketing Education from Okanagan College, where I gained expertise in various areas, including:

• Adobe Photoshop (photo-editing software)

• Adobe Illustrator (graphic design software)

• Adobe InDesign (publication software)

• Digital Marketing and Website Design

• Marketing Research

Today, I continue to chase my passion in the media and marketing industry, blending creativity and technical skills to bring ideas to life.
